This course provides hands-on training in essential engineering techniques, covering skills such as drilling, soldering, woodworking, metalworking, PCB design, wire selection, and the safe use of hand tools and measurement devices. Students will also gain knowledge in designing renewable energy systems. Safety protocols are emphasized, with mandatory use of safety gear like gloves, goggles, and lab coats. The course integrates real-life case studies to enhance students’ practical understanding and ensure they are well-versed in industry-standard practices and safety procedures.

 

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Realize the importance of this level as it is a prepping step to some levels ahead (mainly in the Graduation Project).
  • Develop the practical side through exposure to different tools and techniques.
  • Utilize the tools to build a project.
  • Predict the possible hazards, read warning signs, and apply safety rules to avoid injuries for themselves and others.
  • Have a basic knowledge regarding some renewable energy resources especially Solar Power
