Instructor - Advanced Robotics (102)
Senior Program, Level One Course
- Description
- Curriculum

In this course, students will deepen their understanding of both programming and mechanical design by exploring advanced engineering principles and control algorithms. They will learn and apply higher-level programming concepts, including mathematical operations and algorithms, and implement proportional control in their programs. On the mechanical design side, students will explore advanced topics such as four-bar mechanisms and center of gravity applications. Working in groups, they will build complex designs and gain a thorough understanding of how these systems function in real-world applications.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Understand programming logic.
- Build and utilize mathematical operations and algorithms.
- Enhance students’ analytical skills through problem-solving.
- Establish a relationship between mechanical concepts to build more stable robots.
- Develop an advanced understanding of program writing based on different sensory inputs.
